What Beys is

A short public definition of the hospital operating system and the nouns it uses.

Beys ("medicine" in Dhivehi) is an AI-native hospital operating system: a doctor's assistant, a patient's companion, and a facility's institutional pattern sight.

The positioning line is: Beys keeps the next step in care moving.

The bet

  1. Capture. Ambient scribe and structured extraction make a complete coded record cheap. The practitioner talks. The system drafts. The practitioner signs.
  2. Cognition support. With a complete record, the council can propose differentials and plans for review. Deterministic checks still run.
  3. Pattern sight. The same structured stream feeds detectors, findings, and digests.

Scheduling, queueing, billing, and worklists exist to feed that core. They must stay fast and thin.

Where it runs

On-prem at the facility by default. GPU optional. Country specifics are adapter profiles.

What it is not

Not an autonomous diagnostician. Not a patient-facing diagnosis app. Not a certified medical device. Not an insurance claims clearinghouse.
